Managing the admissions pipeline
Applications submitted on anmutschool.com flow directly into EduNexus. Your job is to review them, update their status, and communicate with applicants.
1
Review new applications
Admin → Admissions
Admin → Admissions
| Reference | Name | Programme | Date | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ANM-202501-A3F9 | Amaka I. | Basic BNA | Today | Submitted |
ANM-202501-B8C2 | Chukwudi O. | Hybrid BNA | Yesterday | Under Review |
ANM-202501-D1E4 | Sarah A. | CPR & BLS | Jan 8 | Admitted |
- Go to Admin → Admissions. New applications show with status Submitted.
- Click an application to open the full record: personal details, programme choice, schedule preference, background, and statement of purpose.
- Check that all required fields are complete. If anything critical is missing, note it before calling the applicant.
- Use the Notes field inside the application to record your observations — these are visible to other staff but not to the applicant.
- Use the search bar or status filter to find specific applications quickly.
2
Update application status after advisor call
Application → Edit Status
- Open the application and click Edit Status (or the status dropdown).
- Move the application through the pipeline: Submitted → Under Review → Shortlisted → Admitted → Enrolled.
- When setting to Admitted: the system automatically creates the student's EduNexus account and emails them their credentials.
- When setting to Rejected: type a note for your records (not sent to applicant unless you choose to email them separately).
- Bulk update: tick multiple applications and use Bulk Actions → Change Status to update all at once.
Admitted = account created. The moment you set status to "Admitted", EduNexus creates the student account and sends a welcome email automatically. Double-check the email address is correct before admitting.
3
Send a templated email to an applicant
Application → Send Email
- Inside an application, click Send Email. Choose a template: Acceptance, Waitlist, Request More Information, or Rejection.
- Edit the template message if needed — personalise the applicant's name and any specific details.
- Click Send. The email logs in the application's activity history.
- For rejection emails: be compassionate. Note that they may reapply for a future intake.
